Not really. i’m not that adventurous either. I don’t gamble. Although we have a casino in town, I never go. And when I’ve been there I haven’t played. I usually take the safe road. The least risky road. It has cost me sometimes, but it has also saved me other times.
Now with a family, I’m even less risky. I don’t take chances with money or my job or my kids. But, you know what? I’m not sure that’s a bad thing.
Carolyn,
Not a bad thing. Good for you!
I was divorced 8 years ago and don’t remember really considering “risk”. We each follow the way we were programmed. Don’t worry about it. If you want to risk something, you will when you are ready.
The important thing is to enjoy today. Did you? Good! Tomorrow will take care of itself.
God luck.
Thank you for such a nice comment! Although I am doing this exercise in an attempt to not always follow my programming. It’s something I’m trying to change and I’ve started by taking stalk of who I really am. But yes, I did enjoy the day. And so far today has been great too! Thanks again.
I’d answer this, but I’m too busy laughing at the sign in the picture.
I do. Everyday living is a risk. A chance to get hurt, but also a chance for more joy. I love the thrill of roller coasters, the exhilaration of white-water rafting, rock climbing, and rappelling. I’ll go cliff diving if given the opportunity, and yes. I WILL touch the corners of that sign and ignore that the bridge is out ahead.
lol. Touch away! You are a braver woman than me! Rock climbing? Ugh, my knees get weak just thinking about it.
