I do. I’ve gotten better at it anyway. I was always a pretty serious person. Even my fun was always tempered by my seriousness. But since I’ve had children, I find I have more fun. And it’s easier to let myself have fun too. Perhaps it’s because my son has a joy and zest for life that radiates out from him. It’s contagious. And I’m glad some of that has been bestowed on me. Because having fun is a wonderful outlet. It’s rejuvenating and refreshing. I love it. Thank you Nolan!

I try. I think it’s important to maintain a sense of play and whimsy. I don’t think I could live with myself if I was serious all the time.

I really try to. I will agree with you Carolyn that it is hard not to have fun with the kids. No one thinks you are strange if you say woo hoo going down a slide at a park or dance for no real reason any where when you are with your children. It is really nice to have that freedom again when I am with them. I love being silly with my boys and laughing right along side of them. Life is fun right now in general.

I do have fun! Going out in Victorian clothing or corsets, “squeaking the mundanes” I call it. Playing “mock the kitten” when she’s gotten her paws on some drugs somewhere (Eventually I’ll figure out who’s dealing to her… maybe… might be Cthuluh.) Daydreaming about kayaks is always fun, eventually I’ll be able to buy one and do flatwater kayaking on the river by the house. I crave white-water though. Oh, how I miss it…
